Friday: Settle In & Relax
We kicked off our weekend by heading to Buckley after work, excited for a change of pace. Our stay at Roots Collective Farm was the perfect start—this charming property has a collection of adorable tiny homes that made us feel right at home while still giving that “cozy getaway” vibe. After checking in, we made our way to Doxa Nutrition & Social House for dinner. It was the perfect spot to fuel up with something delicious before heading back to our tiny home to rest up—because Saturday was going to be full of exploring!

Saturday: Adventure & Local Eats
We started the day with coffee and breakfast at Achor House, a cozy spot to enjoy a warm drink and fuel up for the day. Next, we grabbed a classic lunch at Wally’s Drive-In—such a fun, nostalgic stop before heading out for more exploring. Then it was off to the Foothills Trail for a walk to see the beautiful new scenic bridge—a perfect place to slow down and take in the views. We also lucked out with timing and happened to be in town during the Buckley Car Show. It was such a fun surprise to see the whole community out, enjoying the sunshine and checking out rows of unique and classic cars. After a full day, we wrapped things up with dinner at Main St Bistro and ended on the sweetest note with dessert from Scoop Ice Cream.

Sunday: Slow Morning & Small-Town Charm
Our last day started with coffee and breakfast at Blue Rooster, a local favorite with the kind of cozy atmosphere you want on a Sunday morning. With caffeine in hand, we took it slow—strolling through Buckley’s shops, doing a little retail therapy, and soaking in the local culture. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend before heading home.
